I remember back in the 1970-80's these cars were absolute garbage. In the 1990's they got much better. However, I never truly liked the redesign... until now. Very nicely done. Maybe they can bring back some of the sport of 1960's. Good piece friend.

I love the older Mustangs (and the recent retro version). My buddy had a 69 fast back, but it was not titled as a Mustang. He bought off an ex military personal stationed in Germany in the 60's. Interesting Idea! My mother had a Ford Thunderbird Elan (I think they only made it for like 3 years in the 80's). The entire dash was digital! And the cool thing was you could change it from standard to metric. The first time I did it to mom she was at a stop light. I reached over and hit the button, so we were going in kilometers. It took her a second to realize why people were honking at her for going slow. Hehe.

However, I think today, the digital dash would be a lot easier. It would just be an LCD screen (like on the Iphone or laptop), and everything displayed on it would be software driven (and thus easier).

Look at the dash of the newer 740 BMW (complete with night vision). It is really knight rider realized (sans the super hard shell, laser, and turbo speed).

Interesting comment about the colors. I had an uncle that worked for Volvo. He used to bring home the left over paint (touch up paint and what not that was to be sold to dealers, but had "expired"). It was the strangest colors on the planet. Chocolate Brown, spinach green, terracotta orange. Weird colors for a car I always thought.
